Use Indies’ Partial Payment (Layaway) module for Magento which make your website accessible with Partial Payment feature for your customer’s convenience. This Module allows your customers to purchase product from your web-store by paying only small amount of price of the product. They can pay the rest of the amount after at a certain period of time as set by Admin. By providing this convenient method of payment you can make your customers into the returning customers which can help you to grow your business tree.
How it works?
When a customer reaches at your store that has Partial Payment module installed then he/she will be given a choice of purchasing any product with installment facility. Customer can pay a certain amount of price of the product which can be set by the admin to buy it and the rest of the amount can be paid after certain time period which can also be set by the admin. Admin can also add surcharge for installments and can send Reminder Emails to their customer when due date of remaining payment is near. Admin can also enable auto-capture facility to capture remaining payments automatically.

Like most you can be skeptical when buying pre-built packages which are meant to just plug in and work. If they don't then you are dependant on the supplier to sort thing out. Ths was true in our case but when turning to Indies Services for support we got it quick and positive. our problem sorted in hours. The great thing was it was a problem cause by us miss-configuring the extesion, indies Service identified the issue and gave us clear direction on how to solve it which got up up and running quickly. I can recommend this company as they do provide a quality service both before the purcahs and after.
